Audit protocols geared to helping manufacturers comply with environmental, health and safety requirements are now being produced by Specialty Technical Publishers (STP) for more than 30 international jurisdictions.
Companies use STP’s updated International Audit Protocol Consortium (IAPC) EHS audit protocols to understand the scope of EHS regulatory obligations and to rapidly collect, share, archive and export audit findings in a cost effective way.
“Our international content is now created in-house and we are using the same authors who create our highly regarded U.S. content to update and expand our International Protocols,” said Steve Britten, President of STP, a division of Glacier Media.
“As a result we are able to offer large North American corporations who conduct business overseas the perfect mix of content and online audit functionality.”
IAPC EHS audit protocols focus on national – plus, in some cases, regional or provincial – EHS requirements that have a site-specific application for manufacturing operations.
The protocols are written in English and are available in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat and Excel, as well as through STP’s web-based portal. They can also be integrated into an existing company platform. Using the protocols’ custom templates and advanced functionality features, auditors can easily track audit findings and manage data over time to improve compliance, risk management and safety performance. In addition, STP’s formatting is compatible with leading risk management and sustainability platform providers.
