The Squamish Chief is looking for you – an engaged, talented journalist – to join its award-winning newsroom.
You know what makes a compelling local story and how to craft and present it. You seek to engage and inform your community in whatever platform they want to use and are an enthusiastic participant in social media.
You also know the mechanics of newspaper layout and can drive InDesign and Photoshop skillfully and efficiently. Ideally you also have at least two years’ experience in community media, including covering municipal council.

It has a growing worldwide reputation for outdoor recreation with world-class rock-climbing, mountain biking, windsurfing and many more pursuits, and a youthful, engaged and passionate population.
