The Chief is looking for a Publisher to lead one of Canada’s best community newspapers.

You possess experience in management, preferably in the media industry, with an acute awareness of the importance of quality and sound editorial content as well as the needs of advertising customers. You represent your newspaper well in the community and work co-operatively in a team environment.

Squamish, located on the Pacific Ocean 45 minutes north of Vancouver and 45 minutes south of the world-famous Whistler resort, is a fast-growing community with unparalleled opportunities for rock climbing, mountain biking, windsurfing and many other activities.

The Chief, established in 1991, has been named one of the best all-around newspaper in its circulation class by the B.C. and Yukon Community Newspapers Association and by the Canadian Community Newspapers Association several times in recent years.
