Westlock News
Approximately 85 kilometers north of Edmonton, in the heart of Alberta's rich agricultural land, lays the mixed farming community of Westlock. While service and support play a vital role to the local agricultural industry, other local businesses provide professional services for oil, forestry, gas and coal. Over $50 million in development permits were issued for the town from 2003-2005.
Westlock is well serviced by major highways, rail and an airport. The News has grown with the Town of Westlock and surrounding area since 1901 and is the main source of news and information in the area.
