The Courier-Islander is Campbell River's 1st newspaper, established in 1945, just prior to the city’s incorporation. It remains the local community paper of record – respected, awarded and read for its strong Editorial content.
The Campbell River/Comox Valley North Islander is a FREE Retail and National ROP regional newspaper product that has been serving the entire North Vancouver Island area from Fanny Bay in the south to Port Hardy in the north with News, Arts and Leisure, Outdoor and Adventure, Health and Lifestyles, Food, Family Life, Home and Gardening information under a variety of banners for over 20 years. It is co-produced by the Campbell River Courier-Islander and the Comox Valley Echo community newspapers.
